HANMI Semiconductor announced on the 19th that it has opened its 6th factory in Juan National Industrial Complex in Seo-gu, Incheon.

The 6th factory is a three-floor building with a approx. 6,612m2 site, and HANMI Semiconductor has secured KRW 1 Trillion worth of production capacity, including its existing five factories of Headquarter in Incheon and a 72,727m2 TC BONDER production line for HBM.

Kwak Dong Shin, CEO and vice chairman of HANMI Semiconductor, said, “In preparation for the ever-growing HBM market for artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors, we have enlarged factories’ site as opening 6th factory and placed a large scale of order for KRW 20 billion worth of core parts processing and production facilities.” And also, “We plan to significantly expand our production capacity from early next year.”

He added, “We are raising our sales target to forecast KRW 550 billion this year and KRW 1 trillion won in 2025.”
