HANMI Semiconductor(042700) announced on the 14th that they developed ‘Full-automation Wafer micro SAW’(micro SAW W1121) which is a micro SAW equipment for sawing semiconductor wafer(original disk) and launched on ‘2022 Semicon Taiwan’ exhibition opened in Taipei, Taiwan

DS Kwak, CEO & vice chairman of HANMI Semiconductor said, “’Wafer micro SAW’, officially launched at this time, is full-automation independent 12-inch wafer SAW equipment which is sawing wafer attached on tape or semiconductor manufacturing process wafering”, “Have drastically added higher productivity, degree of precision and more user-convenient functions contrary to equipment of competitors by integrating precision processing, vision and setting technology based on know-hows and business history over 42 years”

He added, “We are planning to provide 2 years warranty on every micro SAW equipment as huge confidence in quality and generate new sales through micro SAW equipment in future separately from existing main equipment”, “It is more meaningful as it has succeeded to develop micro SAW blade at this time.”

Earlier in June last year, HANMI Semiconductor launched ‘Dual-chuck micro SAW’, which was first-localized in Korea They then released ’20-inch micro SAW for JUMBO PCB’(micro SAW P1201), ’12-inch micro SAW equipment’(micro SAW P1121), ‘Tape micro SAW’(micro SAW T2101) earlier this year, ‘Glass micro SAW’(micro SAW GL) in last month. Wafer micro SAW, unveiled this time, is the sixth micro SAW model launched by HANMI Semiconductor.
