Dong Shin Kwak, CEO & vice chairman of HANMI Semiconductor, was selected as a model taxpayer at the ‘58th Taxpayer Day’ ceremony held at the Incheon Regional Tax Office on Mar. 5th and received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance.

Vice chairman Dong Shin Kwak said, “HANMI Semiconductor has been trying to contribute to the national finances through sincere tax payment. We will continue to take the initiative in establishing a tax payment climate”

HANMI Semiconductor is receiving great attention from the market according to a recent report by Hyundai Motor Securities, saying, “HANMI Semiconductor can have benefit from forming an AI alliance between TSMC and SK Hynix.”

Min-jeong Kwak, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities Co., predicted, “In the future, the order-momentum for HBM-related equipment will be very large in scale according to U.S. administration’s willingness to secure ‘Made in USA’ artificial intelligence (AI) chips by supplying them to U.S. hyperscaler companies after SK Hynix is in charge of packaging and production on HBM through Indiana Fab., TSMC conducts CoWoS packaging processes including GPUs in Arizona Fab.”
