HANMI Semiconductor has commercialized 'ABC, AUTO BLADE CHANGE' as the first time among the world-wide.

According to HANMI Semiconductor on the 10th, this technology will be applied to the next-generation semiconductor equipment model 'micro SAW & VISION PLACEMENT'.

This technology enables automatic blade replacement without a hub to firmly hold the blade that cuts the semiconductor package.

The replacing-time can be reduced by deviating from the existing method in which workers were replaced one by one.

In addition, productivity can be improved through unmanned system.

An official from HANMI Semiconductor said, "This technology is meaningful in what it has succeeded in commercialization for the first time in the world and fulfilled the needs of the industry as a key requirement that customers wanted the most." and also, "We will become competitive by applying it to micro SAW & VISION PLACEMENT."

He added, "With 'DUAL TC BONDER GRIFFIN', an essential process equipment for high-bandwidth memory(HBM) for artificial intelligence(AI) semiconductors that has recently attracted attention, will contribute to the performance of company growth next year."
