HANMI Semiconductor made an announcement on the 15th that it achieved operating profit of KRW 66.4 billion with sales of KRW 255.7 billion last year and recorded its biggest performance since its establishment in 1980. Sales increased 114.6%(YoY), and operating profit increased 361.1 %(YoY).

Dong Shin Kwak, vice chairman of HANMI Semiconductor, said, “Last year, demand for semiconductors used in 5G, self-driving cars, smartphones, data centers, and bitcoin increased. So, sales of ‘Vision Placement’ and ‘EMI Shield’ equipment record high performance."

“In particular, due to the effects of TSMC falling out, it has won equipment orders from major TSMC partners such as ASE, Amkor, SPIL, JCET, PTI, TSHT, TFME, etc. HANMI Semiconductor also exports more than 77% of its sales to global OSAT companies and forms an ecosystem for semiconductor production. This year, we expect continued performance growth along with the prospect of 'supercycle' of semiconductors.”
