HANMI Semiconductor to
operate 'HANMI Taiwan
micro SAW' showroom in
Taiwan

announced on the 23rd
that it will operate a
"micro SAW" showroom in
Zhongli, Taiwan.
HANMI Taiwan micro SAW
Showroom is located in
Zhongli, Taoyuan, where
major PCB (printed
circuit board) companies
are located along with
ASE, the world's largest
OSAT (post-semiconductor
process and test)
company. It is going to
display two 'micro SAW &
Vision Placement' (MS&VP)
equipment that is 2,880
sq. ft. indoor.

Semiconductor Co., Ltd.,
said, "Taiwan market is a
key global semiconductor
region with major OSAT
companies such as TSMC,
the world's largest
foundry (semiconductor
consignment) along with
system semiconductor
(non-memory) growth."
"We have achieved more
than 20 billion won (USD
17 mil) in sales and
profitability in the
second half of this year
by supplying 6.8 billion
won (USD 5.8 mil) worth
of micro SAW & Vision
Placement equipment from
Jiangsu Silicon Integrity
Semiconductor Technology
(JSSI), a Chinese
semiconductor OSAT."
It is drawing attention
as an example of
overcoming Japanese
companies that have been
leading markets with
equipment that cuts
semiconductor packages.
HANMI Semiconductor is
creating synergy effects
by combining it with
vision placement
equipment that continues
to be the top market
share in the world.
